ITIL® 4 Managing Professional Transition
About This Course:
- Designed for candidates who have already invested in ITIL v3, the ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition module provides a straight-forward transition path across to ITIL 4.The Transition module enables candidates to gain the up-to-date skills and knowledge needed to navigate the digital service economy, whilst recognising their previous achievements. It consists of a mandatory 5-day training and exam at the end of the course. Successful candidates are awarded the ITIL 4 Managing Professional designation.
The Transition module covers the key concepts introduced in ITIL 4 Foundation, as well as important elements of the below modules from ITIL 4 Managing Professional:
- ITIL 4 Specialist Create, Deliver and Support
- ITIL 4 Specialist Drive Stakeholder Value
- ITIL 4 Specialist High Velocity IT
- ITIL 4 Strategist Direct Plan and Improve.
To qualify for the transition module, candidates need to hold ITIL v3 Expert or a minimum of 17 credits from ITIL v3 qualifications.
Course Goals:
The learning objectives of the course are based on the following learning outcomes of the Managing Professional Transition exam specification:
- Understand the key concepts of service management
- Understand how the ITIL guiding principles can help an organization adopt and adapt service management
- Understand the four dimensions of service management
- Understand the purpose and components of the ITIL service value system
- Understand the activities of the service value chain, and how they interconnect
- Understand how to plan and build a service value stream to create, deliver, and support services
- Know how to use a value stream to design, develop and transition new services
- Know how to use a value stream to provide user support
- Know how to coordinate, prioritize and structure work and activities to create deliver and support services, including managing queues and backlogs and prioritizing work
- Understand how customer journeys are designed
- Know how to foster stakeholder relationship
- Know how to shape demand and define service offerings
- Know how to onboard and offboard customers and users
- Know how to act together to ensure continual value co-creation (service consumption / provisioning)
- Know how to realise and validate service value
- Understand concepts regarding the high-velocity nature of the digital enterprise
- Understand how high velocity IT relates to:
- The four dimensions of service management
- The ITIL service value system
- The service value chain
- The digital product lifecycle
- Understand the following principles, models and concepts and know how to use the following principles, models and concepts:
- Ethics
- Safety culture
- Lean culture
- Toyota Kata
- Lean/Agile/Resilient/Continuous
- Service-dominant logic
- Design thinking
- Complexity thinking
- Identify the scope of control and within this
- Know how to cascade goals and requirements
- Know how to define effective policies, controls and guidelines
- Know how to place decision-making authority at the correct level
- Understand the role of risk and risk management in DPI
- Understand how governance impacts DPI
- Know how to ensure that controls are sufficient, but not excessive
- Understand the nature, scope and potential benefits of organizational change management
- Know how to use the key principles and methods of communication & organizational change management

You can choose the language in which the training will be conducted – Bulgarian or English. All our instructors are fluent in English.
Student Guides:
The training materials are available in electronic format. They can be used online / offline on any device. Lifetime access.
Lab Environment:
Each student has their own lab environment where the exercises are conducted, part of the course. You do not need to install software on a computer or special hardware requirements.
Participants in a face-to-face format in our Training Center have an individual computer during the training.

- 5 working days (09:00 – 17:00)

40 hours training (theory and practice) in non-working hours lasting 4 weeks
Saturday and Sunday 10:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 18:00, 18:00 – 22:00

Payments:
An application for an invoice shall be accepted at the time of entry of the relevant course.
