This will include answering and logging incoming support calls, diagnosing and resolving where possible or escalating to 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\/3<sup>rd<\/sup> line support groups as required.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"156\"><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"572\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to investigate and provide solutions for issues raised either from calls to the service desk or from other sources.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to produce \/ log clear descriptions of issues reported by users whilst initiating the fastest path to ensure timely and efficient resolution.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to assess probability of 1<sup>st<\/sup> line resolution and escalation path as required.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to provide instruction \/ training to customers using phone, remote desk and email.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A willingness to take ownership of customer issues and maintain the highest standard of customer service whilst dealing with those issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Occasionally provide support for systems outside of the normal site hours<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Any other duties as directed by the Group Service Delivery Manager<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"156\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"572\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Monitor and manage own Service Desk queue<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To work safely at all times taking into account own and others safety<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proactive approach to duties, identifying areas for improvement whilst being central to the development and maintenance of a positive image for the IT department<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent knowledge of PC, Software and General IT terminology<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent knowledge of current PC hardware technologies and able to build PC\u2019s to specification<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Practical \u2018hands-on\u2019 skills<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A genuine personal interest in the field of IT<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Good knowledge of Microsoft Office<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating System\u2019s<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Previous experience of working in an IT environment<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to take ownership of customer issues recognising where to escalate if required<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; Role Profile IT Service Delivery Analyst L1 Service Delivery Analyst \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Role Title IT Service Delivery [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"pmpro_default_level":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[1818],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-47808","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-our-team","pmpro-has-access"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.6 -
